In-studio: $75/hr

In-home: $85-90/hr depending on location

Virtual: $70/hr

Where are you located?

Rock Hands has a physical studio space in Oak Park and we offer in-home lessons in Oak Park and most neighborhoods in Chicago. We also offer virtual lessons to the …… entire world!

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your lesson time, please let us know 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the lesson. No-call no-shows will not be refunded. Our full policy can be found here.

Do I need my own instrument?

Yes. We’d be happy to assist you with selecting the right instrument for you! Just reach out on our Contact page.

Do you offer instrument rentals?

Yes! We offer rentals for acoustic or electric guitar and ukulele. Rentals range from $18-35/mo depending on how much equipment is required (i.e an electric guitar rental comes with a guitar, cable and amp).

Do you teach adult students?

We do! Our staff teaches ages 5(ish) and up.

I have 2 kids who want lessons. Can you teach them at the same time?

Private lessons are most effective when each student receives individual attention, so we recommend keeping them one-on-one rather than combining students outside of a group class. Since children of different ages often learn at different speeds, we generally suggest scheduling siblings who are two or more years apart in separate lessons.
